Our playing year runs from September to August and full bowling membership is available at a reasonable joining fee for new members, which includes the annual subscription.
A small charge is also made for each bowling session, which is normally two hours.
One hour lunchtime practice sessions (or “Roll Ups”) are available, together with a free half-hour session early evening.
Members can enter Club, County and National competitions and also play in the many and varied Club Leagues that are run throughout the winter and summer seasons. Members can also play together with other members and/or play social/friendly bowling - the choice is theirs.
The Club also offers a Social Membership, which allows Full Members’ spouses to join at no extra cost. Social membership allows members’ spouses to attend our social events, including our annual Christmas lunch, together with access to the bar and restaurant throughout the year. Members of the family other than spouses pay a nominal fee for Social Membership and this may be extended to full members’ friends at the discretion of the Committee and our membership levels at the time of application.
Further details regarding new members, membership fees, charges, applications, coaching, etc, may be obtained by telephoning the duty Steward or Club Secretary.
